Manufacturer & stock images

Where a listing shows a manufacturer or stock image, it’s labeled “Manufacturer image — not the actual item.” Those images belong to their owners; sellers add them only to identify a model.

How to file a takedown notice

To report content you believe infringes your copyright, email our agent a notice that includes all of the following — this is what the law requires (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. The copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a representative list, if several).
3. The infringing material and enough detail to find it — a link to the listing is best.
4. Your contact information: name, address, phone, and email.
5. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Incomplete notices may not be valid. Note that knowingly filing a false claim can make you liable for damages under §512(f).

What we do

On a valid notice we remove or disable the reported content promptly and, where we can, let the seller know. Because Bike Drawer has no accounts, a seller is identified by email — so we can also bar that seller and take down their other listings.

Counter-notice

If your listing was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send our agent a counter-notice that includes (17 U.S.C. §512(g)):

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. The material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and phone, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court for your district (or, if you’re outside the U.S., any district where Bike Drawer may be found) and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant tells us they’ve filed a court action to keep it down.

Repeat infringers

We terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances — barring the seller by email and removing their listings.
